The exhibition «ParkZoo 2021» is the main platform of the Russian Pet Industry!

On September 22-24, 2021, Crocus Expo hosted the X International Pet Industry Exhibition - «ParkZoo». 179 companies took part in the exhibition. In three days, 7800 visitors visited «ParkZoo».

Among the visitors of the traditional format of the exhibition, the most numerous category were representatives of retail trade – 27.8%. Approximately the same shares were made up of guests from the wholesale trade segment - 13.3%, veterinary activity - 12.3% and e-commerce - 12.2%. Distributors accounted for 7.2% of visitors, manufacturers - 8.5%, importers - 3.2%.

3.1% of visitors to the exhibition indicated that they are the owners of STM, this graph has become an innovation in 2021.

The majority of visitors, according to the survey, are engaged in products in the segment of feeds and treats for cats and dogs - 23.2% and animal care products and accessories - 20.1%.

The most active visitors were from Moscow and the Moscow region – their share among the guests who came to the exhibition pavilion reached 57.9%. Among the districts, the Central Federal District is in the lead - 8.8%, the Volga Federal District - 7.1% and the North-Western Federal District - 6.7%.

This year, the main visitors of the exhibition were Russians - 94%, but among the guests of «ParkZoo», the registration system also noted representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, India, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus.

Business program

The business program of «ParkZoo» was diverse.

The X Grooming Festival-2021, organized by the «Milord» company, gathered 180 participants, and the traditional conference for breeders from the «DOG-PRO» scientific and educational project – gathered more than 100 participants.

The interactive business games «A short way to personal success and efficiency» from the Valta Pet Business Academy were sold out on all gaming tables. The demo games were conducted by the leading teachers of the Academy.

The speeches on topic «Consumer and market 2020-2021. Changes in the group of products for animals» by Evgeny Konev, the head of the NielsenIQ group for working with retailers, and on topic «Five main trends in the Russian pet industry» by Tatiana Katasonova were successful.

At the mini-conference "Opening new horizons – the  globalization of Vafo Praha representatives of the company «ContinentZOO» announced the start of production of Brit feed in Russia.

The Zooinform company presented at the exhibition the first book in the pet industry «Mega Sales in a pet store», written by Alexander Kolchin.

Mobile Application

A mobile application for participants worked at «ParkZoo 2021». It contained the necessary information about the work of the exhibition: the program, the list of exhibitors, the layout of the pavilion. Using the app, it was possible to meet other participants, schedule a business meeting, contact the organizing committee and get help. The general chat function turned out to be very popular, in which the participants of the exhibition talked about what was happening at their stands, invited to presentations, and shared their impressions. The section with photos from «ParkZoo» was also popular.

New Product Showcase

123 novelties from 40 pet industry companies were presented at «ParkZoo». The largest number of products were declared in the category of «Food»: there were 23 products for cats, 18 products for dogs, 3 products for birds and rodents. 9 new products were presented among the delicacies.

11 new products and accessories were presented to visitors in aqua and terrariums, and almost 20 in pet care section. In addition, veterinary drugs and novelties for grooming were presented in the category of novelties.

«ParkZoo Digital»

In 2021, the exhibition was held in two formats, one of which was an online platform based on the Expodat digital platform. 32 participants have registered for the virtual exhibition.

Exhibitors could arrange a virtual stand, they had access to a ready-made registration database of unique visitors to the stand. According to the registration system, 1,790 visitors have visited the virtual exhibition so far. The work of the exhibition «ParkZoo Digital» will continue for another month.

«ParkZoo 2022»

«ParkZoo» is a professional platform for finding partners, meetings with colleagues, which provides unlimited opportunities for business development. During its existence, the exhibition has become the main platform for the pet industry of the country, the events that take place at «ParkZoo» determine the development of the industry as a whole.

The exhibition is growing every year and attracts an increasing number of pet industry businessmen. The new «ParkZoo» format at Crocus Expo received a lot of enthusiastic reviews from participants and visitors of the exhibition.

Registration for participation in the NEW PRODUCTS SHOWCASE «ParkZoo 2022»


Dear colleagues! Applications for participation in the NEW PRODUCTS SHOWCASE «ParkZoo 2022» continue to be accepted. Applications for participation are accepted strictly by 15.08.2022 inclusive. 1. The submitted application may not be accepted if the product does not meet the conditions of participation. 2. After 29.08.22, a list of participants of the NEW PRODUCT SHOWCASE with photos and descriptions of new product will be posted on the website. A product is a "novelty" if it entered the Russian market in 2021-2022. A ‘novelty’   means that product should have a new look / line in the assortment; the embodiment of a fundamentally new idea, etc. Please note that new packaging, minor rebranding, and so on will not be considered as "new product". You can submit no more than 5 applications in each category.

A mobile application for participants, whether they are an exhibitor or a visitor, will help to navigate the exhibition. Of course, the functionality of the application is different for each category, but it is the mobile application that will help to constructively visit and work at the exhibition, without wasting time searching for a particular stand, a particular location of the business block of the exhibition.
